Together, we’ve made great progress in vaccinating more than three-quarters of people ages 18 and up in North Carolina against COVID-19, but there’s still much more to do. By engaging organizations across the state in a fun, customizable campaign, we hope to raise awareness of the benefits of vaccination and ensure that everyone has the information they need to stay up-to-date with their vaccines. How can my organization get involved? There are plenty of ways for organizations of any size to participate. Just register your organization and download our Spring into Summer toolkit to get started. You’ll also receive a printed starter kit that includes flyers, door hangs, and stickers. What is the goal of Spring into Summer? Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the 4th of July, family gatherings, backyard cookouts, and vacations—these are times when people look forward to hosting gatherings and spending time together. By vaccinating as many people in our communities as possible, we can make these gatherings safer and more enjoyable. When will the campaign take place? Spring into Summer will begin March 21st and continues throughout the summer. Our goal is to encourage and increase vaccination and boosters among adults and children who are eligible—and promote people getting the health care they put off during the pandemic. Can individuals participate in the campaign? Yes! Our Spring into Summer toolkit includes a list of simple steps everyone can take, such as calling loved ones who haven’t vaccinated or boosted yet, sharing their experience on social media and asking if anyone needs support in getting vaccinated. Download the toolkit. Who can I contact for more information or to learn about additional ways to get involved? You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
