COVID-19 Vaccine Access Update in NC

Pharmacies across NC can now give COVID-19 vaccines without a prescription to people ages 7 and up. The CDC updated its recommendations, which allow this change.

Because of this update, NCDHHS ended its temporary standing orders that had allowed pharmacies to give COVID-19 vaccines to adults without prescriptions. This change keeps the same easy access.
